As some of you know, I still don`t have a licence to drive. But I still love car design, and especially old cars where designers could be a little creative and actually produce vehicles that make people smile. I found this little “Messerschmitt” from 1956 on finn.no earlier today.

After I posted the last video with David Carson, Jon tipsed me about the Sagmeister presentation on the same site (TED.com), so why not publising it here aswell. This guy is the modern day godfather of graphic design. His books are simply… erotic.

TED.com must be the best webpage in the world. So many inspiring talks by the most incredible people alive today. I was surprised to see David Carson up there today, he`s always been a personal favorite of mine when it comes to graphic design – and not to mention his approach towards graphic design. Enjoy the video – and if you want to actually learn something from the internet for a change, check out TED.com!

I really really wish I had more available time on my hands. Then I`d order a prefab structure from somewhere and start building in my yard. I`ve been looking alot into Rocio Romeros LV Series for the past year, and actually almost ordered one of them before our norwegian currency (Norwegian Krones – NOK) collapsed last year. I guess that`s a good thing anyway, since I really don`t have time for a project like that right now.
But today I accidentally surfed by this all new prefab dream from ecospace in the UK. I especially like the big monopitched roof version… not too expensive either, considering it`s a complete package from what I`ve gathered.
If you`re into prefab architecture, you should check it out.
5. October 2008
I`ve painted the walls and laid the new oak floor in the kitchen. It`s not 100% alike the one in the livingroom (that was laid 20 years ago) – but pretty damn close. The livingroom has also been cleaned up in order to make room for bathtub, toilet, shower cabinet and other stuff – that hopefully is on it`s way right now.
Hopefully only 3-4 weeks left until pretty much everything is up and running.
11. September
since last we`ve gotten a new concrete floor, new sheetrock ceiling, and some beams up that hopefully will be actual walls at some point.
After the floor was laid down my father informed me that it will take 6 weeks until it`s dry. that`s 6 additional weeks without bathroom, kitchen or… well.. a home.
My personal hygiene has degenerated to the level that I don`t care when I`m dirty anymore. Showering a couple of times a week seems to be enough right now. Atleast for me, not sure if my girlfriend would agree – if she was here.
This is from 15. August – destruction is imminent. Breaking down the walls, is`nt that what I`ve been doing all my life?
This is how my bathroom/kitchen/house looked 13. August – 3 weeks ago.
working on some business cards for a client right now, and uninspired as I am… I googled “visittkort” (business card in norwegian), and found these little babies. One word; wow.
